Empowering students to tell the story of their learning is integral to gaining buy-in and promoting advocacy. As we track student learning transparently using the
MasteryBook, we have many opportunities to teach students how to set goals, track progress, and self-assess, providing evidence of learning which allows them to partner with teachers in the process. In this session, participants will explore various ways to use the formative assessment process to engage students in a meaningful conversation about what they know and can do.
